About QuickMaths
Free, no-nonsense tools that turn bank statements and receipts into organised, HMRC-ready data for UK sole traders, landlords and the accountants who look after them.
Why we built it
Making Tax Digital is moving hundreds of thousands of self-employed people from a once-a-year tax return to digital records and quarterly updates. The software that files those updates is well served; the messy step before it, getting a year of bank statements and a shoebox of receipts into categorised, per-quarter figures, is not. QuickMaths exists for that step.
How the tools work
Each tool reads a document you upload using Google's Gemini model, extracts the transactions or receipt details, and categorises them against HMRC's Self Assessment headings, with a confidence score on every row so you know what to double-check. Documents are processed in memory and never stored; results can be exported to Excel. The tools prepare data for MTD software, they do not submit anything to HMRC, and their output is not tax advice.
Who is behind it
QuickMaths is built and run by Mina Logic, a software development company. The site is free to use and funded by advertising.
